One topic, three formats: Bridging the Gap Between Data and Care
The vision
Patients don’t all process information the same way. For example, a newly diagnosed patient might need an in-depth article to better understand their situation, a relatable blog to feel less alone, or a visual factsheet for quick, actionable reference during a flare-up.
The strategy
To address these varied needs, I created multi-format resources to ensure high-level autoimmune research is accessible to everyone. I translate complex clinical information into plain language (Grade 6–8 readability), aiming to replace patient anxiety with clarity and autonomy.
The process
Throughout my process, I researched and wrote the medical article, then used AI tools to make shorter, more scannable formats. I ensured that, despite these changes, the medical information and empathetic tone remained fully consistent.
