Building the Bridge to Menopause: A guide to accessible, empowering perimenopause support.
Perimenopause often leaves women feeling overwhelmed and medically invisible because of unpredictable hormonal changes like night sweats and mood swings.
As a Patient Education Strategist, I transformed complex clinical data into a compassionate, accessible brochure. Using plain language (Grade 6 readability), I explained the “wild fluctuations” of estrogen to reduce anxiety and provide clarity. My strategy focused on validating the lived experience while turning deep research into actionable “Quick Strategies for Relief” and lifestyle stabilisation tips.
This project goes beyond education; it equips women to navigate perimenopause by clarifying symptoms and providing a supportive roadmap—enabling them to better recognise their symptoms, apply practical relief strategies, and approach menopause with increased confidence and self-advocacy.
